What we mean by it
“Existence is co-existence” is one of the ideas allid is built on. A presence on the web only matters because someone else sees it. A small business needs its street, an artist needs an audience, a student needs a first chance, and a charity needs people who show up.
We want to be useful to all of them, not only to the people who are already doing well.
Who we stand behind
- Creative artists. Painters, musicians, makers, writers and performers who are good at their work and not yet known for it. A single address that outlives any one platform matters most to people who can't afford to start over every time an algorithm changes.
- Community and charity groups. Food banks, sports clubs, residents' associations, cultural societies, mutual-aid groups. Volunteers have little time and no budget for tools, and their posters, schedules and sign-up links change every week.
- Students. People building their first portfolio, their first club, their first event. The habits and the address they set up now can stay with them for years.
How we help
- The tools are free. Every feature, with no paid tier and no card, for everyone, including groups with no budget at all.
- We back good work when we can. That can mean prizes for student challenges, support for campus and community events, or a hand getting set up. We choose carefully and say yes as often as we're able.
- We share what's worth sharing. With permission, we feature artists, groups and students on our own channels.
- We listen. Much of what we build next comes from the people using allid for things that matter to them.
Tell us about it
If you're an artist, a group or a student doing something worthwhile, or you know someone who is, get in touch. We read every message. We can't say yes to everything, but we'll always give you a straight answer.
