What the mark means
It’s authentic
The profile belongs to the person or organisation it names, not a fan page or an impersonator.
It’s the official one
When several profiles use the same name, the mark shows visitors which one to trust.
People checked it
A member of our team reviews every request by hand. The mark can’t be bought or switched on by the profile owner.
Who can apply
Businesses & brands
Companies, shops and products with a public identity customers look for.
Organisations
Non-profits, public bodies, schools, clubs and events.
Public figures & creators
Artists, authors, athletes, journalists and others with a public presence beyond allid.
Applying from your editor. The Get verified option appears in your editor once your profile has had at least 1,000 visitors in the last 90 days (we count each visitor once a day). Automated traffic and your own visits don’t count. Notable but new to allid? Contact us and our team will take a look.
What we look for
Proof it’s you
Your official website, or an established social account, links to your allid.me profile. Businesses can also send a company registration number.
A public presence
Evidence that people look for you by name: press coverage, an official listing or register, or an established audience elsewhere.
A complete profile
The display name matches the identity you are verifying. The profile has a photo or logo, a short bio and at least one working link.
Good standing
The profile follows our Terms, is public, and does not imitate another person or brand.
How to apply
- Step 1
Apply from your editor
Once your profile reaches 1,000 visitors in 90 days, choose Get verified in the editor. Confirm the name, tell us who you are and add your evidence links.
- Step 2
We review
You can follow the status in your editor. Our team may ask for more evidence. A standard review takes 4–6 weeks. Some requests take more or less time, because we handle each one individually.
- Step 3
The mark goes live
You’ll see the result in your editor and by email. Once approved, the mark appears on your profile, in search and in bookmarks.
Keeping the mark
- Does it stay if I change my name?
- No. We verify the name you apply with, so changing your display name removes the mark. Changing only capital letters or spacing, such as “harbour & pine” to “Harbour & Pine”, keeps it, and so do new photos, bios and links. To verify a new name, apply again.
- What if my request is declined or I change my mind?
- We’ll tell you why in your editor and by email, and you can apply again 30 days after our decision. You can withdraw a request from your editor while it’s under review. Changing your display name during a review also withdraws it.
- When else can it be removed?
- If the profile starts representing someone else, breaks our Terms, or impersonates another person or brand.
- I have several profiles. Are they all verified?
- No. Verification applies to one profile at a time. Each one you want marked needs its own request.
- Can I request it for someone else?
- Only if you officially represent them, for example as their agent or as a company’s marketing lead. Tell us your role when you apply.
