Who you're agreeing with
"AllID" means the AllID service and its operator, based in Ireland. "You" means the person or organisation using AllID.
By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
Your account
- You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country. AllID is not for children under 13.
- Your handle is yours for as long as your account is active. Don't impersonate other people, brands, or organisations you don't represent.
- Keep your sign-in factors safe (your passkey device, your authenticator app, your backup codes). You're responsible for activity under your account.
- One person, one account, except where AllID is being used on behalf of an organisation by an authorised representative.
What you put on AllID
You keep ownership of the content you publish on your profile — your bio, links, images, everything. By publishing it, you grant AllID a non-exclusive licence to host, transmit, and display that content as part of running the service. The licence ends when you remove the content or close your account.
What you can't do
Don't use AllID to:
- Publish content that's illegal where you or your audience are located.
- Impersonate someone else, or pretend to officially represent a brand, government, or institution you don't speak for.
- Phish, scam, distribute malware, or run an interstitial that does any of those things.
- Promote violence, terrorism, child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that breaches another person's privacy.
- Harass, threaten, or target individuals.
- Probe, scan, or attempt to break our infrastructure — including bypassing rate limits, signing up under reserved handles, or trying to extract data you weren't granted.
- Resell, rent, or sublicense the service.
We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that breach these rules, with or without notice depending on severity. Where we can, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to fix it.
Service availability
We aim for high availability but we don't promise uninterrupted service. AllID may be unavailable during maintenance, outages, or incidents at one of our infrastructure providers. We don't guarantee any specific uptime number while we're pre-launch.
Pricing and payment
AllID is currently free to use. The free service is funded by a brief interstitial, reserved for advertising, shown to visitors on every short-link redirect (allid.me/r/...). See the Ads on link redirects section below for what this covers and what it does not.
If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you in advance and let you keep using what you already had. We won't move existing free features behind a paywall without notice.
Ads on link redirects
To keep AllID free, visitors who click your allid.me/r/... short links are routed through a brief interstitial, reserved for advertising, before being sent to the destination. By creating an AllID account and publishing short links, you agree that:
- The interstitial is a core, always-on part of the free service. There is no user-level opt-out, and there is no paid plan today that removes it.
- Ads appear only on the redirect interstitial — never on your profile page, your dashboard, your analytics views, or anywhere else in your account.
- Phone-call, email, and similar direct-action link types skip the interstitial automatically and route the visitor straight through.
- The interstitial space is reserved for advertising. Today it carries only first-party content — a sample placeholder, an in-house promotion, or a promoted listing — and no third-party ad network runs on it. At any given moment it may carry any of those, and we may change ad formats, bring in or swap ad partners, run promotions, and adjust the duration and styling of the interstitial at any time, at our discretion.
- We do not sell your personal data. The Privacy Policy describes what we and our ad partners use to make ads relevant and measure their performance, including information collected from the visitor's browser at interstitial load.
If you do not wish to publish links under these terms, do not use the AllID short-link service.
Termination
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion starts a 30-day grace period during which you can cancel it; after that the erase is permanent.
- We may terminate your account if you breach these terms, if we're required to by law, or if you're inactive for an extended period (defined separately and notified).
- On termination, your public profile is taken down. Your handle is then held back for 30 days before anyone else can claim it, so links and QR codes pointing at it cannot be quietly taken over by someone new the moment you leave.
What we don't promise
The service is provided "as is." We don't warrant that it will be error-free, suit any particular purpose, or be available in any specific region forever. Where consumer-protection law gives you stronger rights, those rights apply regardless of what this section says.
Limits on liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AllID's total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms or the service is limited to the greater of: (a) what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) EUR 100. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (loss of profits, business, opportunity, data, goodwill, etc.) except where the law says we are.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that can't be limited by law.
Your responsibility
If a third party brings a claim against AllID because of something you published on your profile, or because you used the service in a way that breached these terms, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from that claim (including reasonable legal costs).
Changes to these terms
We'll email you at least 14 days before any change that materially affects your rights. Continued use of AllID after the change takes effect means you agree to the new terms. If you don't agree, delete your account before the effective date.
Privacy
How we handle your data is covered in our Privacy Policy.
Open source attributions
Components we depend on are credited on our Attributions page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Disputes go to the courts of Ireland, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country gives you the right to sue locally — in which case that right is preserved.
Contact
There is no separate legal address — every question about these terms goes to the contact form or support@allid.me, both of which reach the same place.
